A Very Shiny Christmas
Dec 1st, 2009 by Hazel
There are few things that thrill a kid more than waking up on Christmas morning and seeing those beautifully wrapped packages, beneath a tree that’s aglow with bright lights and shiny ornaments. Kids love shiny things, especially the ones that are hidden in a pile of presents. Even better, however, is finding something shiny that’s too big to fit under the tree – or even to be wrapped – sitting nearby with a bow on it (a shiny bow, naturally).
Because most of us have experienced this at least once, we can easily remember that feeling of elation; it’s so strong, that it comes surging back every time we think about that special present. The first time it happened to me was when I got my shiny green tricycle. It was great! It was all mine, and bigger than the one that I had had to share with my little brother up until then. So, ha, ha on him!
Then, it was even more wonderful, a few years later, when I got my first bicycle– a gorgeous, shiny (of course!) blue 26-incher. What made it better still, was that it was much nicer than my big sister’s old one; that is, until she began to habitually hi-jack it, sticking me with her worn-out, chipped, dull (of course!) green 24-incher. So, ha, ha on me!
Okay, now that I’ve vented, my point was that, along with our incomparable collection of outdoor furniture, we have lots of wonderful gifts for kids, right here at CedarStore.com. Some of them are shiny, and some are not (the gifts, not the kids…but then, again…oh, never mind), but they’re all certain to delight the young ‘uns.
In our Kids’ Korner, you’ll find durable, powder-coated steel scooters, wagons, and tricycles, available in several fun colors, and accessories that include L.E.D. headlights and blinking taillights. We also feature rugged, colorful wagons, along with wagon trailers, canopies, and seats.
Besides the rides, we have a great selection of outdoor furniture for children, including kids’ picnic tables, patio chairs, swings, toy chests, and outdoor games.
Indeed, we have everything you’ll need to make a kid’s holiday bright. Er, make that, shiny – you knew I’d have to say it one more time!
Yours Outdoors,
Kathy
